Summary

A senior-level evaluator with a minimum of 10 years' experience in evaluation methodology (including mixed methods evaluation), quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and conducting evaluations of international development projects.

Responsibilities:

The nutrition expert will provide technical guidance related to the technical details for evaluating a nutrition project. The nutrition expert will play a key role in the creation of all deliverables (at the direction of the team leader) and will be expected to lead data collection teams in the field and conduct independent data collection, as required.

Qualifications:

Specific Requirements

  • Master's or PhD degree in a field of study related to nutrition.
  • At least 10 years' work experience in evaluating development projects, including USAID-funded projects, with specific experience in Ethiopia preferred.
  • Demonstrated sound analytical and technical skills.
  • Fluent in English, with strong writing and organization skills, language fluency or proficiency in Amharic strongly preferred.
