Talent Pipeline for Health Professionals and Experts               



ME&A is an international development firm based in the Washington, D.C., area, providing innovative solutions for economic development and social progress in more than 70 countries.

ME&A is seeking various international health consultants and experts both domestically and overseas to provide technical expertise and assessment of health-related projects and activities including the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Interested qualified health professionals and experts worldwide who are available for short-term and/or temporary assignments are invited to register for the pipeline and create their profiles. If you are interested in working with ME&A and have experience in the International Health field, such as Infectious and Chronic Disease, Epidemiology, Health Promotion, Health Policy, Health Economics/Health Systems Strengthening, HIV/AIDS, Ebola Outbreak, Maternal/Child Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Survey Manager, Nutrition and/or any of the supporting fields listed below, please complete an online application.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities / Candidate Eligibility

Professionals are recognized specialists or authorities in one or more of the following specialties as well as experts fulfilling support functions (list includes, but is not is limited to):

  • Health Economist
  • Public Health
  • Infectious Disease emphasis on HIV/AIDS and Malaria
  • Maternal/Newborn Health
  • Reproductive Health
  • Environmental Health & Safety
  • Epidemiology
  • Emergency/Disaster Management
  • Nutrition
  • Biostatistics
  • Data Specialist
  • Health Communications
  • Health Promotion
  • Health Risk Management
  • Humanitarian Health




  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in International Health, with a PhD, or 10 years of experience with a JD/ABD, or 12 years of experience with a MS/MA.
  • Post-graduate degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading health sector project/program evaluation/assessments, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Demonstrated experience in public health and programming, program design, and program evaluation.
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, facilitation, and consensus building.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience successfully interacting with host government officials, civil society partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to keep to a timeline.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required, with demonstrated report writing experience.
  • Experience in gender analysis and incorporating a gender lens in evaluation
  • Familiarity with the USAID evaluation policy, Result Frameworks, and MEL plans.
